Peace Education Specialist (5 positions)

Marquette University
Milwaukee, Wis.

The Peace Education Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of the Peace Works program in Milwaukee’s public, private, and religious schools. This position is a full-time (40 hours per week), one-year grant funded position, including benefits with the option for annual renewal. Ten, 11 or 12 month options are possible for these appointments.

Communications Manager for Vocation Promotion and Ignatian Spirituality

The Communications Manager for Vocation Promotion and Ignatian Spirituality will serve on the JCCU’s communications team and take the lead in creating and curating online content to promote vocations to the Society of Jesus and engagement with Ignatian spirituality within the broader public. The communications manager will work collaboratively in Vocation Promotion and Ignatian Spirituality, two interconnected but distinct areas of Jesuit ministry.

The Communications Associate for Justice and Ecology will work closely with the JCCU's Office of Justice and Ecology (OJE) to coordinate OJE's communications efforts both within the Jesuit network and for the broader public. (OJE advocates, networks and educates for social and environmental justice, placing the voices of marginalized communities at the center of our work. Our current public policy priorities are climate change, criminal justice, economic justice, human rights in Latin America and migration.)

Learning Center Teacher

The Learning Center Teacher leads assistance for students in all levels of mathematics, as well as introductory chemistry and physics. Responsibilities include teaching and reinforcing technology skills, teaching and modeling study and organizational skills, and communicating with teachers and parents on a consistent basis. This position reports to the Learning Center Director and Assistant Principal.
